Back around Christmas time, I posted a contest on my Facebook fan page to get the word out about a special that I had going on. The winner of the contest got a free photo shoot at a time of their choice.

The winner wanted to take some photos indoors, since at the time Provo had turned into Antartica. We had originally agreed on going to the state Capitol, but due to conflicting schedules, we had to settle for something more local.

A week before I had gone to the Provo library when an outdoor photo shoot was much too cold to bare. The photos did not turn out as I wanted them to, so I was very hesitant to go back there. Turns out that going at night when there would be less distractions and more manageable light, was the trick to getting the photos I wanted to get.

So the lesson is this: if at first you don’t succeed, suck it up and make it happen! Ha ha!
