In the last few months, I’ve had the same question come up from prospect clients looking to save a few bucks:

Does it really matter if I get my photos edited?

As I have stated from a previous post, not having your favorite shots fully edited is like purchasing a delicious steak and not seasoning it and cooking it correctly.

The magic is in post production! I will always do my best to capture the best photo straight from the camera. No matter how much of a Photoshop guru you think you are, nothing will ever substitute a quality photograph taken properly. If I want a creamy blurred background, I do so with the right lens and correct settings. Not by doing so much post-production, that your photo looks too unreal and loses it’s quality. I have seen it out there, you can always tell apart a photograph that was taken correctly versus the one trying to do too much.

So get your photos fully edited! I have provided different pricing options to make it affordable for anyone. I only charge extra for this service because I take the time to work on your photo to make it the best I can. I will correct the exposure, color, white balance, etc. I will work on your skin so that it shows silky smooth without looking like you got a bad face lift! Depending on the situation, I will enhance your eyes and the saturation of the iris. I will get rid of any elements in the photo that might feel distracting. These are just a few of the things I will do to make those photos you chose, the best ones!
